We just spent a week at the McKenzie River for a family reunion. This home was a wonderful place for a vacation. It is very family friendly with two ovens, a huge fridge, a huge freezer, two loft areas perfect for kids to call their own, and space for everyone. The beds are surprisingly comfortable!
Waking up to the sun shining through the trees on the river was delightful. This is a home one can truly relax in!
By the way, our group took an all day trip down the river with High Country Expeditions. They were great to work with. Our guide told us that the best property on the river is the place we were staying! (Maybe they tell everyone the same thing, but we believed him!)

We just spent the most remarkable weekend at this incredible haven for relaxation. The McKenzie River was so crystal clear and beautiful. We took hike's, rode bike's down lazy back roads, played golf at the most beautiful course I have ever played, and BBQ'd out on a deck that extends over the river. It doesn't get any better than this.
The house is well equipped and the accomodations superb! There is a waterfall from a small creek that runs parallel to the river and falls back into the McKenzie right out your bay window. I sat and enjoyed a glass of wine while being mesmerized for hours! Floodlight's light up the waterfall at night to keep the experience going 24/7.
Thanks for the great memories, we'll be back.

We had a wonderful stay, my two sons and a group of friends. The forest that surrounds the house has incredible douglas firs, but the most amazing thing is that the home's deck is built over the raging river. There is no way something like this could be built now, with the regulations and everything. The river is roaring, with huge volumes of water, and we are able to stand on the deck and look down and it is so cool. Great stay.
